How your information is handled

This page explains what The CIS-Dragnet Benchmark Study collects when you take part, how it is protected, and how results are reported. The study is run by The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and delivered with Dragnet Solutions Limited.

Who is responsible

The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers commissions the study. Dragnet Solutions Limited operates the survey platform and processes the answers on the study's behalf.

Full data protection details will be published here before the survey opens on 9 November 2026.

What we collect

• Your consent to take part.
• Your survey answers.
• For investors: the stockbroking firms you choose to rate, and whether you are an individual, a Nigerian institution or an institution abroad. Institutions give the institution's name.
• Optionally, an email address or phone number, if you want a link to come back and finish, or want to receive the published report.
• For firm respondents and market institutions: the name, role and work email address of the person invited.

How your answers are kept apart

• Contact details are stored separately from survey answers.
• Firms never see their investors' answers.
• A firm's coordinator never sees colleagues' answers, only that a survey is complete.
• No firm receives another named firm's results.

How results are reported

• Individual answers are reported only in aggregate.
• Results are reported with the number of responses behind them. Where only a very small number of institutions respond, their figures are withheld so no one can be identified.
• The industry report is public. Each firm report is private to that firm. Each market institution approves its passage in the Institutional Perspectives section before release.

How we use your contact details

Only to send you your survey link, a link to resume, a confirmation that your answers were received, and the published report if you ask for it. We do not sell or share contact details, and we do not use them for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information held about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing support@cisdragnetstudy.com.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from other websites.
